Professor Simon Haberle, Director of the ANU School of Culture, History & Language, will provide the keynote address at Immersia Partnering Event, the 2023 Student Research Conference. He discuss his research in the field of paleoecology and will also share some of his journey to becoming a researcher.

Attendees can also look forward to a scintillating performance by Prosperous Mountain Dragon and Lion Dance (PMDLD), Canberra's only non-profit, volunteer, community-focused dragon and lion dance troupe.

This is the only team that is endorsed by peak bodies such as the Canberra Multicultural Community Forum (CMCF), the Federation of Chinese Associations ACT (FCAACT) and ACT Chinese Australian Association (ACTCAA). They focus on inclusion, bringing authenticity and delivering life-like performances to spark the imagination.
