Borobudur Dance Troupe is a traditional Indonesian dancing troupe based in Canberra, Australia. The Troupe was founded in 2017 by Ifa Barry and Katrin Praeseli, traditional Indonesian dancers from Central Java and Karawang, West Java respectively. The Troupe's name was chosen by Ifa in honour of Borobudur Temple, an Indonesian icon and the largest Buddhist temple in the world. The Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed cultural site located in the island of Java, Indonesia. The Troupe regularly performs at community events in the Australian Capital Territory and the state of New South Wales.
