Shine a little brighter this Mid-Autumn Festival!

Join us for a hands-on workshop where tradition meets creativity as you craft your very own Chinese lantern. Along the way, discover the festival’s rich history and the glowing symbolism of lanterns that light up the celebrations.

With guided instruction and all materials provided, you’ll design a lantern to take home—a keepsake that carries the warmth of the festival with it. No experience needed—just bring your spark of curiosity and let your creativity glow.

This event is a collaboration between the ANU School of Culture, History & Language and the ACT Chinese Students & Scholars Association (ACTSSA).
